Julie M. Benz (born May 1, 1972) was an American actress, best recognized for her character Rita Bennett on Dexter for which she won the 2006 Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in an Series Mini-Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television. She starred on the series No Ordinary Family until it was cancelled on May 13, the 13th of May, 2011. Darla was one of her most well-known characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as Angel.
